I am always moved when I look in the dining room to see children and adults enjoying a meal.  Although what we do looks easy, few people see the hundreds of volunteers and donors behind the food lines.   Our volunteers cook, clean, unload supplies, drive the van, fix things when they break, answer our phones  and many, many other necessary tasks.  Our donors allow us to purchase all the “stuff” that is required for us to fulfill our mission.  Our small staff works together to sort out the chaos and make sure everyone knows what to do and all of our clients receive the best that we have.
 
We could not function without all of these pieces.  I hope that you will consider becoming part of our family through donations or volunteering or both.  I can promise you, we will continue to be good stewards of your resources and we will continue to serve our city’s most vulnerable and fragile citizens.
